Purchased between 1 October 2020 and 5 March 2021

Defect:

The product may not comply with mandatory standard ‘Consumer Goods (Swimming and Flotation Aids) Safety Standard 2017’. Buoys in the affected batch may have an unreliable clip. The central (secondary) safety wall lock may not hold, allowing the buckle to be released with a one-hand motion or by pulling firmly on both straps.

Hazard:

If the clip is released, the strap and buoy may loosen or separate from the swimmer. Sudden release of the clip could increase the risk of serious injury or death by drowning.

What to do:

1. Please check your Back Float Buoy for the batch code F/F/T or F/E/U. The Batch Code can be located on the top side of the product, underneath the strap. Or on the back left hand corner, if still packaged.

2. If your Back Float Buoy has the batch code F/F/T or F/E/U please cease use immediately and contact Vorgee to arrange a reply-paid return, and for instructions on obtaining a replacement or refund.
